The embodiment of loyalty and reliability and a favourite with our clients and team alike, is our longest serving team member, Krystal Daniels. If we want something done – we give it to Krystal!
As Head of Client Service, Krystal’s role is to ensure we are consistently delivering first class and efficient service to all our clients.
The attentive and caring nature that Krystal brings to her relationships with people underpins the smooth running of the client services team.
“It provides a sense of reward when we can reduce our client’s stress levels and give them peace of mind. That is when we know we are doing our job well,” she says.
“The way we operate is forever changing as we are always trying to do things better and better. Over the years I have learnt to be very adaptable while at the same time continually drawing on my education and applying it to all I do. “
“My favourite relationships are with our clients that see us as their partners and who work with us closely to achieve their goals.”
A major milestone for Krystal in achieving her own personal goals was purchasing her first home a few years ago. More recently the joy of becoming an Aunty for the first time was another highlight in her life.
Krystal is supportive of a range of children’s charities, with the Starlight Foundation and Ronald McDonald House being especially close to her heart. “I have seen firsthand the wonderful work these charities do for children and their families,” Krystal said.
Her advice to her younger self is: “Don’t waste your money and start saving as much as you can as early as you can,” she said.

“Everything is centred around relationships”
Dedicated, dependable and driven are some of the ways our Adviser, Tom Moloney, is described. A family man who grew up in central west New South Wales, Tom excels at building genuine bonds with everyone.
Believing that good relationships are central to success, it is no surprise that Tom is an advocate for the power that smart comprehensive financial advice can provide. “Essentially it’s about giving you the freedom to spend more time doing the things you love with those you love,” he says.
Tom has been with his wife, Charlotte, whom he met back in the central west, for more than ten years. Sharing a similar outlook on life, they enjoy doing the simple things together. An avid fan of AFL, Tom has supported his much-loved team, the Western Bulldogs, for as long as he can remember.
“Aside from marrying Charlotte, one of the highlights of my life was being at the MCG to witness them win the premiership,” he laughs.
Tom’s advice is, “to build a healthy relationship with money as early as you can but remember this will evolve over time. Take an interest in financial concepts but also know when to listen to the experts!”

“The best results come from everyone working together”
An integral member of our team, Nicole is the day to day contact for our clients and a great support to our Advisers. Her ‘anything is possible’ approach, means she is proactive and hard-working and has built a depth of knowledge that is beyond her years.
“I picture our clients as family members,” Nicole says. “I try to put myself into their shoes and consider what they need and want.
The best results come from us all working together in this way. It creates an energy and an efficiency that can exceed everyone’s expectations.”
“One of the best things I do is to make sure that our clients are prioritising themselves and doing what they need to make their lives better. It takes patience, persistence and great communication,” she said.
When not at work Nicole can be found with two of her besties, her dog, Bilbo and her cat, Luna. One of her personal highlights has been completing a hundred-kilometre marathon with her sister and some friends - without sleeping and within 36 hours!

It’s not just about money. It’s about creating time.
With a great eye for detail, Thomas Serratore is responsive and proactive in his role as Associate Adviser. The brains behind the strategic plans that drive our clients towards achieving their goals, Thomas is an integral member of our advice team.
“Our clients are really successful. However, their success means they are running busy lives with complicated affairs and are therefore time poor.”
“I love the challenge of breaking down their complexity to develop a strategy that shows them how to get to where they are wanting to go and how to get there faster.”
Working with each client individually, Thomas enjoys the fact that everyone he deals with is different and has their own aspirations and challenges.
“There is definitely no one size fits all in my role,” he says.
Purchasing his first property in his twenties, Thomas has always believed in leading by example. An avid goal setter himself, it is no surprise that he now provides partnership and guidance to our clients on setting and achieving their own goals.
“We are often the first person to ever ask our clients, ‘what do you want to achieve with your success?’ Defining that is very powerful and it can be life changing.
“The advice I would give to my younger self about money is to learn the magic of compound interest. It’s important to understand the power of money at an early age,” he said.
A competitive person by nature, Thomas likes to score highly in any sport, whether it be on the soccer field, basketball or tennis court. And when he gets his own spare time, Thomas may be found making gourmet salami with his Dad!

Be the best person you can be.
The face of the future of financial advice, Gemma is an Adviser in the making.
An energetic and intuitive team member, Gemma is dynamic and enthusiastic about her role with Sherlock Wealth. Providing support to both the client service and advice teams is giving her a great platform from which to launch her career.
Completing her double degree in Financial Planning and Marketing while working part-time is a juggle but Gemma believes it is worth it because she is learning from the best and setting herself up for life.
“To get the best results for our clients, I believe in going the extra distance, being their advocate and doing everything I can to create a positive impact,” she said.
This ethos underpins Gemma’s drive and how she approaches every day.
Learning to deal with the unique and sometimes unexpected situations that arise is highlighting to Gemma the importance of being adaptable and able to evolve quickly.
“I always try to lead by example which helps me to be the best version of myself that I can be. The example you set carries forward with you,” she said.
Gemma’s love of animals, together with her interest in equality and fairness, has led her to volunteer for the guide dog program where her experience of raising a puppy changed her life.
When asked how she has achieved so much already, Gemma says it is about living in the moment while also planning ahead: “My advice to my younger self would be to not spend it all now and to always remember to set yourself up for the future,” she said.
